August 26, 2013 ~ Not really sure what the title of this one should be...

So this week was interesting.  The first couple days was kinda still not ideal.  Recovery from last week, trying to get  some more new potentials.  Luckily, we've gotten some!  yay!  So this week should be a little busier!  Among those, we've redeemed an in investigator from the formers list and hopefully will be progressing again!  And we met with our 1 progressing one this week and she's doing pretty good.  She's a babyshka and she is hilarious.  I think she's in love with King Solomon.  She always talks about him and also about the 5 books of Moses.  Yesterday in church she asked me if we follow everything that is written in them... also she told us that we should call the Quorum of the 12 and request that our pday be changed to Saturday so that we don't have to do anything on the "Sabbath".  She's a wonderful woman, she is always making us laugh.  And she has mastered the English phrases "Very good" and "Thank you very much".  She says that too us all the time.  It's just too funny sometimes.

This week in the Hermitage it was so awesome!  There was a group of Italian women standing outside the entrance where we stand (they were waiting for something) and they didn't speak anything but Italian.  I went over to them and asked where they were from (already knowing where, but still just to be polite) and tried talking to them in the couple words I could remember and filling in the rest with Spanish haha.  They were so into it, it was hilarious.  It made me laugh.  Then I took a German woman to go find a map of the museum in German (I could have just pointed to where they are, but I walked her to them so I could talk to her haha).  That was great.  She's from Munich.  I sure miss David and the rest of our awesome German family!!

We met with some super cool less actives this week.  I really have no idea why some people are less active.  They love the missionaries and still know and believe everything, they are just too lazy to make the effort to come to church it seems like.  Don't do that!  The loss of blessings is NOT worth it!!
Thats really all that happened this week.  The one thing that I have been thinking about a lot lately is unity, in any group of people, but especially in a missionary companionship.  That's hard enough with just 2, but try adding a 3rd.  Holy cow.  That's something I think we've been struggling with, but I've learned a lot and I have seen how being one can really make awesome things happen and then how disunity can really ruin things quickly.  It's been a struggle thus far, but I've learned how important that is this week.

Love you all, have a great week!
