Oh what a day! Austin arrived in late afternoon and what a celebration it was! It is reported that mom nearly ran over everyone to get to Austin as he crossed the "red line" of security. After Austin got his luggage the family ate dinner at the Red Iguana in Salt Lake City. Austin's first dinner request was Mexican food so that fit the bill. After dinner it was a long drive home for Austin and managed to stay awake until about Draper, Utah (35 miles) from the Red Iguana. After that he crashed and was sound asleep. It had been a long day of traveling and he was exhausted!

Even though Austin was exhausted he woke up when we arrived at home Austin woke up and wanted to hand out the presents he had bought for everyone. He was so excited to show all the items he brought home for his mission in Russia. The hats are authentic Russian hats and very cool to have here in America. Austin was so excited to be home and he actually stayed up most of the night since he had not adjusted to the time change. It was so much fun seeing his excitement as he talked about his mission and all the wonderful people he met on his mission.

Lookin Good Dad!
Austin had a wonderful Homecoming party where we were joined by many friends and family. These pictures are samples of the fun we all had playing games and enjoying having our son home again! We sure missed him and his excitement, compassion and competitive nature.
